 小時候常常去橡膠園，撿地上的橡膠子兩個重疊，一上一下用力棰，這就是我們的童玩，看到這幾顆

橡膠子，勾起我兒時的歡樂時光。

  when I was small , I used to go to our rubber plantation. We picked the rubber seeds , one on top of the

other, smashed it, and this is some kind of the childwood play. When seeing these seeds , it does give me a sweet

memory.

老公第一次到馬來西亞時，我也特地帶他來參觀橡膠園，那時候還會看到工人割膠、收汁，到生產成膠

片，曾幾何時，膠汁到膠片已不常見，反而是”膠糞”，好難聽的名字，其實是碴硬成一堆，才有此名

字。膠塊看起來像豆腐，但是很有彈性，這些都是橡膠製品的好原料。

When my husband first trip to malaysia, I took him to the rubber plantation. At that time the

workers cutting the rubber trees, collecting the juice, & there came out the product" latex". 

But now, in order  to save the process, juices are accumulate to become a sticky stuff , feel &

look like bean curd, these are the raw material to make rubber products.

 運氣還不錯，看到palm oil正在採收出貨，原來好多年前，橡膠不值錢，很多橡膠園改種palm oil，馬

來西亞的炎熱天氣是種植橡膠與palm oil的好地方。

 We are quite lucky to see the collection of palm oil. The reason is at one time the price of latex is low that many

people turned to plant the palm trees instead. With the hot climate of malaysia , it is no doubt  a  good place to plant

rubber trees & palm trees.

  溜進橡膠園，這些老樹已成樹林，看起來好美、好自然，也因為很自然，好多蚊子，一面走一面要搖

動，免得被蚊子叮……

  Sliping into the rubber plantation , time flies , the old trees are turning into jungle, so beautiful & natural , but

many mosquitoes around , just have to walk with moving hands & shaking legs ...... gosh.. mosquitoes , please go

away....
